  First my first official 10-track album, initially released by Kap-Kan Records, St. Petersburg, Russia in 2002 and re-released by my own label MiNIPOP records in 2007.
  
  I've written and recorded the most songs while living in Munich. Working with multitrack tape recorders was what I've been doing since the middle of the 90ies, but this record marks my switch to digital. For example, an experimental track like "Rodion's dream", made of sampled dialogues and ambient noises is rather difficult to produce on tape.
  
  But not only the recording techniques had a huge influence on the album, also the early age of internet did - you can hear the sampled sound of analogue modems or Rodion's fingers dancing on the keyboard. Some of the drum beats come from online libraries. On the cover, the russian title "СНЫ РОДИОНА" is transcribed using latin letters - a way russians type if there's no cyrillic keyboard layout installed.
